SYMPOSIUM
Artist in Residence - its social meaning?
...report from Rotterdam, Edinburgh and Osaka.
Artist-in-residence programs are nowadays popular here and there over the world.
The co-ordinators, who run the artist-in-residence programs in the
Netherland, in Scottland, and iin Osaka, meets together and will present their practice and isues which lie in those programs.
The syposium will also discuss the influence given from those programs to the society and vice versa.
The symposium will be held as the related event of the two programs now run in Osaka, one is 'ART-EX' and the other 'Puddles -Artist intiative links in 2000 -'.
